This past week I had the opportunity to preach to the Austin Stone West Campus on the topic of “Christ the Lamb”.
As we embark on the “Holy Week” I believe it’s important to reflect on the claim that John the Baptist made when he saw Jesus walking towards him – “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.” (John 1:29).

When we understand the significance of Christ as the Lamb, the necessity of Christ as the Lamb and the implications of Christ as the Lamb, we will have no other option but to join the multitudes in heaven worshipping Christ the Lamb.
Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, [12] saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” (Revelation 5:11-12 ESV)
This Holy Week let us worship the Lamb for he is worthy of all power, wealth, wisdom, might, honor, glory and blessing.
